Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning II is a single-engine, single seater 5th Generation fighter developed with three distinct variants, each enjoying extremely low observability and excellent connectivity: the F-35A, F-35B and the F-35C - aircraft have been delivered since 2015. The F-35C has larger wings and horizontal and vertical stabilizers than other F-35 variants and folding wingtips in light of its carrier deployment design, as well as a larger fuel capacity and a reinforced nose landing gear with dual tires to help it withstand the punishment of carrier landings, plus a launch bar for catapult assisted takeoffs. Its low observability promises to give U.S. Navy operations a new dimension.

Fuselage length: 218mm, wingspan: 182mm. ★The low observability form of the F-35C is artfully captured in 1/72 scale, with delicate recreations of raised RAM (Radar Absorbent Material) sections. ★Choose whether to assemble the model with folded or extended wingtips. ★Reinforced landing gear struts are recreated. ★Assemble with canopy open or closed. ★Two AIM-9X air-to-air missiles are included. ★Comes with a pilot figure. ★6 marking options included.
